Jabari Parker: Mormon Athlete

Jabari Parker is a high school basketball star, considered perhaps the best in America.  He has grown up in a rough area of South Chicago, U.S.A. and was raised playing basketball.  His father played professional basketball and has given public service in Chicago by managing youth leagues.  Jabari showed promise when he was in second grade, showing up older players on the court.  Not even graduated from high school yet (he is an honor student) Jabari is 6’9″ tall and 220 lbs.  Jabari has been featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated Magazine, a six-page spread, which featured his integrity and morality and faithfulness to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, sometimes mistakenly called the “Mormon Church.”
