The tights seem like great quality but they do run small. I’m writing this because I felt that my daughter–6 years old, ~43 lbs, normally a size 5/6 in clothes–was in between the 2-6 size and the 8-12 size. I took a chance on ordering a size up and I’m so glad I did! The size 8-12 fit her much better than I imagine the 2-6 would (they’re still even a bit snug–stretchy, but snug). Hope this helps someone else who was in the same predicament.

This rating/review is specifically for Capezio transition tights size 8-12 (light suntan) from seller *PairMySole*. I was sent an open box item when I purchased NEW. The tights were nicely wrapped in third party packaging disguising the already ripped open package. I??m not opposed to open box items, but these are ballet tights??I expected NEW, unopened, unused ones, since that??s what I paid for. I purchased in February 2020, and of course the return window closed five days ago, March 5. I just opened them to inspect for my daughter??s recital at the end of April. I??m annoyed and feel deceived.
Regarding the product itself??I have purchased several pairs of these tights before. I love Capezio tights, in general, for their strength and durability. The transition tights are useful whether or not children need bare feet on occasion, and the material used seems softer than the regular footed tights . The light suntan still seems a bit dark to me. These were purchased for my six-year-old daughter who weighs 52 pounds and is 48 inches tall. They are a little big on her, but the 4-6 size is too small.

My daughter needs tan tights for her recital. Is the caramel the same thing?
Answer: Yes, the caramel is basically tan. Capezio however does have other shades of tan. We went with Caramel for our big recital and they matched with the other girls great.
Could I wear this if I??m a adult woman who small and wear small size?
Answer: I say no. Height and leg width would be an issue. I don??t think these would fit my 8yo.
what is the difference between the 2-6 size and the 2-6x size?
Answer:
I bought these for my granddaughter who is a slender size 6. I bought the regular size and they fit her very comfortably. I would think an X would indicate that the size would be for perhaps a fuller figured girl. My granddaughter wears slender sized blue jeans. The comfort and durability of these tights made them ??
Are these the 1916 style?
Answer:
The package says 1816X Fits Size 2-6. We bought as a back up pair to 1916X but have not worn yet. The main visual difference is that 1816 appears to have separately sewed on elastic waistband and 1916 appears to have integrated waistband that is softer & stretchier. Had I known this I may have just waited to but 1916 a??
